Before words like "smize" and "werk" were part of our everyday lexicons, there was Cindy Crawford.

And now, the legendary supermodel is reportedly bringing her history and know-how to NBC, where Variety reports she's developing a sitcom. Tentatively titled "Icon," the show will revolve around the cutthroat competitive modeling world of the 1980s, at the height of fame for supermodels.

Don't expect to hear any familiar names, though. Though the show will mirror the race between Ford and Elite, the two biggest modeling agencies in the biz, it'll be totally fictionalized. Crawford is set to write alongside "The Hunger Games" writer Robin Bissell.

We're grabbing the popcorn now -- can't wait to see this walkoff when it finally hits air.
