7 Reasons Jennifer Lawrence Should Record More Music, Like, Now

Embrace your inner pop diva and make more music already, J Law!

Jennifer Lawrence can do anything. She's kinda like the closest thing we have to an IRL superhero. With so many talents -- which include binge-watching "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" while rehearsing her lines for David O. Russell's next project, consuming an entire pizza in under ten minutes and beating Meryl Streep -- it's only natural that J Law would consider expanding her empire. And the only logical next step would be conquering the music industry. (Sorry, Taylor.)

We already know Lawrence can sing. Her "Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 1" song, "The Hanging Tree," landed her a coveted spot on the Billboard Hot 100 after debuting at #12. NBD. Despite a pop radio remix, the OG song, written by "Hunger Games" author Suzanne Collins and the Lumineers' Jeremiah Fraites and Wesley Schultz, was heard in the film first as an a cappella performance by Lawrence, in character as Katniss Everdeen. And we got ~chills~ listening to her gorgeous voice (even if it made J Law cry).

So without further ado, and in honor of our queen's upcoming 25th birthday -- you know, a pivotal year where you start to question your aspirations in life -- here are a few reasons why Lawrence should consider a career in music.

It would get her one step closer to an EGOT.

J Law already has her Oscar, so now she's got to work on securing that Grammy. Now, no one said she had to record a pop album to win a Grammy. She could totally record a spoken word album. We'd listen to Lawrence talk about anything: her breakfast, her adorable dog Pippi, her reality TV obsession, etc. Heck, we'd even listen to her spout the entirely of iTunes' terms and conditions.

It would also get her one step closer to becoming a Real Housewife.

We all know this is J Law's true ambition in life, and if she wants to hang with the best of 'em, she needs a record a super catchy vanity single. We're not entirely sure if anything can top Countess Luann's "Money Can't Buy You Class" but J LAW CAN TRY.

She could collaborate with her BFF Taylor Swift.

Can you imagine Jennifer Lawrence and Taylor Swift singing on the same track?! What a time to be alive.

Ohmygod she could also collaborate with Beyoncé.

"FLAWLESS" FEAT. JENNIFER LAWRENCE. COULD YOU EVEN IMAGINE?!!

We'd be able to pay money to see J Law LIVE.

OK, so maybe this is selfish of us, but all we really want in life is to be in the same room as J Law, and touring would allow us to live our dreams. So, if she does become an unlikely pop star and goes on tour, well, the world would be a happier place because of it.

It would sell loads of copies.

Perhaps the most obvious reason of them all: Lawrence's album would absolutely crush the charts. It might even go platinum. "The Hanging Tree" has sold well over 1 million digital copies to date, which just proves our point that fans are craving more J Law -- and they're willing to spend $$$ on her.

She has a lovely voice.

Plain and simple. Lawrence may think she sounds like "deer that has been caught in a fence," but to us, J Law, your voice is perfect -- and we'd honestly just like to hear more of it.
