You Can Eat Fried Pikachu In South Korea -- Yes, Really

KFC's pizza/chicken combo's got nothing on South Korea's Pikachu pork.

If you've ever played Pokémon, you're familiar with the catchphrase "Gotta catch 'em all." But how about "Gotta eat 'em all"?

Rocket News 24 reports that thanks to some industrious street vendors in South Korea, you can now eat your very own fried Pikachu without even tossing a Pokéball.

"Pikatsu" has become popular street fare in South Korea over the last decade or so. The word is a play on Pikachu, the most famous of all the Pokémon, and tonkatsu, deep-fried pork cutlets. If you're in South Korea, you can pick up the tasty treat for a mere $0.45. And if you want your own fried pocket monster in the comfort of your own home, you can order packages online with some help from Google translate.

We finally have the answer to this Reddit thread that poses the question, "What Pokémon do you think would taste the best fried and why?" While it may feel wrong to eat something so cute, the words "deep-fried pork cutlets" should have you getting over that guilt pretty quickly.
