MTV's "Scream" kicked off last night in spectacularly spine-chilling fashion: For starters, there were two murders, countless secrets both hidden and revealed and, oh yeah, a bloody heart in a box.

But trust us...You ain't seen nothin' yet.

The series' brand-new trailer, below, is giving just a taste of what else is in store this season. Among the offerings: yet another death, a candlelit memorial with a very special attendee (look closely at the crowd...if you dare), some good old-fashioned dude rivalry between Will and Kieran...and screams. Lots and lots of screams.

There's also an array of heart-pounding attacks, plus a phone call or two in which the killer taunts Emma, telling her that "everyone you trust is lying to you" and then warning her ominously, "But it's going to end with you."

So will the killer choose Emma as his next victim? Your guess is as good as ours, but one thing's for sure: He will strike again. As the all-knowing Noah says in the clip, "Nobody puts on a mask and commits a murder just once. The real question is, who's next?"
