Paul Rudd Is The Dreamiest Camp Counselor Ever In Netflix’s ‘Wet Hot’ Teaser

This tastes like a burger.

Netflix is ready to make this summer wet and hot with an eight-episode revival of the 2001 David Wain cult classic film, bringing back all -- every single one -- of our favorite camp friends for some more sweater fondling and impromptu motorcycle chasing fun.

(Note: If you haven't yet seen the original, Netflix has got that, too.)

The streaming service released a first trailer for their "Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp" series on Tuesday (June 23), thrusting us right back into the idyllic-not-so-much scenes of life at Camp Firewood.

"Camp Firewood is more than just a summer camp," the teaser reminds. "Camp Firewood is an idea, a promise, a way of life. Try new activities, like archery, drama, arts and crafts, water sports, and street dance. Make lasting friendships. Be at one with nature, and enjoy all the amazing things our facilities have to offer. We’ve even got a gourmet chef. Summer of your life is just around the corner."

It IS going to be the summer of your life because the series, which brings back the whole crew of seasonal screwballs -- Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon, and Michael Showalter -- hits Netflix on July 31.

As the new series title indicates, the show will focus on the first day of Camp Firewood's big summer season -- even though it's been 14 years since the film came out. Which means prepare for some more EPIC GIF game.
