Our New Spider-Man Tom Holland Was Born To Play Peter Parker

Oh my god he's perfect.

In case you haven't heard, Tom Holland has been cast as your new friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

The 19-year-old British actor is about to blow up this year with a starring role in Ron Howard's "In the Heart of the Sea" and a very hyped appearance in "Captain America: Civil War," which will tee up his very own solo movie in 2017. In short, Holland seems like the perfect fit for Marvel's new, and much younger, Spidey.

Not only does he have serious moves, as evidenced by his stint as the titular role in "Billy Elliot the Musical" on London's West End, but he's also an actual teen, which will undoubtedly serve him well as Peter "Puny" Parker.

Now, we could totally list off a lot of random facts about Holland like every other site on the internet, but tbh, we really just want to write about his adorable pitbull pup Tessa. Holland may be getting all of the hype right now, but it's only a matter of time before Tessa is famous in her own right.

Just LOOK AT THIS PUP. Are you KIDDING ME?!

Holland really loves animals -- and we mean really. The only animal we haven't seen Holland photographed with (YET) is a pig, so don't get your hopes up for a Spider-Ham crossover, folks.

He also sings and plays guitar:

And is a master at jumping over things, yet another impressive Spidey skill.

"Just chilling upside down," he captioned an Insta snap. You know who else likes to chill upside down? SPIDER-MAN. The signs were there all along.

Also, there was that one time our "friendly" new Spider-Man pranked Superman (played quite believably by his little bro Harry Holland).

Oh, and did we mention Holland is a huge Spider-Man fan?

Yeah, we're totally on #TeamHolland. Can't wait to see you do your thing in "Captain America: Civil War," bb.
