MANCHESTER, Tennessee -- We've been holding it down at Bonnaroo, and if our snaps and Instagrams and live updates from the grounds aren't already giving you FOMO, allow me to turn it up a notch.

Kendrick Lamar, the first headliner of the weekend, took the What Stage at 9:45 p.m. CT Friday (June 12), and Bonnaroo promptly lit up.

Opening with "Money Trees," K. Dot had the thousands of onlookers chanting "ya bish!" then went straight into "Backseat Freestyle."

Kendrick played on until 11 p.m. CT, and even though he didn't bring on Taylor Swift for a surprise performance of the "Bad Blood" remix like I had convinced myself was possible since we're so close to Nashville, it was perfect.
