Demi Lovato and longtime boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama are taking their relationship to the next level.

Well... from couple to costars, that is.

Demi has joined the cast of “From Dusk Till Dawn,” the supernatural thriller on which her beau stars as crime lord Carlos.

Details of Demi’s guest starring role are being kept under wraps, but she did share a PDA-filled selfie with Wilmer on the Austin, TX set of the show.

This marks Demi’s first return to television since her arc in “Glee” in the 2013-14 season. Before that, she made her breakthrough on Disney Channel’s “Sonny with a Chance.”

Judging by the tone of “From Dusk Till Dawn,” though, we wouldn’t count on seeing Demi burst out into song in this one. The vampire crime drama centers on a pair of brothers on the run after a bank robbery heist that left several people dead. So, yes, it’s also a far departure from Wilmer’s most famous role, as Fez in “That ‘70s Show.”

Just last week, Demi posted a photo of her S.O. in character, gushing, “I’m so in love it’s ridiculous. He worked so hard for so long in preparation for this role… I couldn’t be more proud of him.”

Hopefully these two will get to act out some lethal, dramatic love story on screen so we can fawn over their chemistry. But in any case, it’ll be nice to see Demi back on the silver screen.

The second season of “From Dusk Till Dawn” premieres Aug. 25 on El Rey Network, and Demi will reportedly appear in the season finale.
