If there's news in the world, there's always a chance for a new meme to be born and today we've got another one. Say hello to the Hipster Cop. The thus-far anonymous cop was captured keeping the peace during an English Defence League march in an East London neighborhood Saturday.

With a thick, full beard, shaved head and curly mustache, the Hipster Cop's look is one more often found slinging beer at a nearby craft brewery than on the streets of London.

And thus, a meme was born. Twitter users across the globe have been taking part of the meme, inserting the hipster cop in a number of different "hipster-approved" situations including wielding organic, GMO-free pepper spray or bragging about exclusive, underground police stations.

Even Sergeant Nathan Shickle of the Wandsworth police tweeted that he was near the Hipster Cop.

So what's next for the Hipster Cop? A line of artisan donuts? Maybe he's at work on handcrafted handcuffs to give arrestees that one-of-a-kind experience? We'll just have to wait and see.
