Cats are, and forever will be, iconic. Not dogs. Cats.

So it's no surprised that kitties dominated the 2015 MTV Movie Awards (and my life) on Sunday night. Not only were there real, live cats, courtesy of Dave Franco's acceptance bit, but there was a giant, distracting, blow-up cat head onstage too. You know how we do at MTV: cats all day, every day.

Here are the six times kitties took over the Movie Awards.

There was a giant cat head on stage, to start.

Dave Franco had a cat in his lap when he won Best Duo with Zac Efron.

Charli XCX and Tinashe preformed Ty Dolla Sign's 'Drop That Kitty.'

Tinashe led a pack of kitty dancers during that performance.

Kelly Osbourne gave Charli a stuffed kitty on the red carpet. And she licked it.

Amy Schumer won the night with vagina innuendos. Get it? Kitty?
