Watch Madonna Make Her Standup Comedy Debut On 'The Tonight Show'
It was a Madonna takeover on Thursday (April 9) night’s episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
She came, she sang, she conquered.
Backed by The Roots and Fallon on the wood block, the Material Girl, who was there to promote her new LP, Rebel Heart, performed her classic hit, “Holiday.” The song alone brings unlimited amounts of joy, but the Hawaiian shirts and funky sunglasses made it even brighter.
As if Madge’s iconic vocals weren’t enough, the self-described “closet comedian” made her standup debut on the show.
“Will you guys laugh if my jokes suck?” she asked before disappearing behind the blue curtain and coming back out to workshop her material.
The "Ghosttown" singer focused on what she knows: dating younger men, asking her son to set her up, and Andy Warhol.
Considering she was put on the spot, this up-and-coming funnywoman from Bay City, Michigan did alright.
What do you think? Did Madonna bring the LOLs?
