There's A Bloodbath In Kid Ink's Upcoming "Be Real" Video: Watch Our BTS Footage

Dej Loaf is in it, too.

Kid Ink is still rolling with his latest album, Full Speed, and before fans blink, he will be pushing out his next video, "Be Real," with Dej Loaf.

"Be Real" is a DJ Mustard-produced standout from Ink's new LP and single that has him excited. While the Los Angeles, California MC is known mostly for his radio hits, he feels that "Be Real" shows a different side.

"One of DJ Mustard's writers, he gave me the beat with this hook idea on it and she was singing some gritty lyrics and talking about some stuff that reach more to the streets and where I come from -- more than a commercial, radio-friendly type basis," Ink told MTV News when he invited us to the song's video set.

Part of the video has a creative and gothic feel. There are flickering candles and female models bathing in blood. "We have the scene with the ladies in these blood baths and they kinda represent temptation," Ink explained.

When it all comes together, Ink believes that it will give listeners a new perception of him as an artist.

"Everything else is just a visual experience," said the video's director Mike Ho. "To see him in his element, how Kid Ink is and let his fans see him in a different light than they're usually see him in."
