This 'Ex Machina' Trailer Is So Spooky We're Not Sure We Can Trust It

How about that Turing Test.

As if you needed another reason to distrust a robot, the very first "Ex Machina" trailer is here.

Domhnall Gleeson (who knows from scifi, as he'll be playing some mystery role in the upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens") plays Caleb, a programmer who wins the chance to get away to the mountain fortress of CEO Nathan Bateman (Oscar Isaac, who is also in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens"). As it turns out while Caleb is in Nathan's mountain, he'll participate in experiments with Nathan's incredibly advanced (and incredibly pretty) AI, Ava (Alicia Vikander, who is not in "Star Wars"). She's beautiful, smart, total girlfriend material...and a robot.

This spells trouble.

Written and directed by Alex Garland, who knows from good-looking, spooky types after writing the screenplay for "Never Let Me Go," this one looks chilling to the max.

"Ex Machina" hits theaters April 10.
