Hozier's 'Someone New' Video Is An Ode To Rebounds

Or a cautionary tale? We're not sure.

Rebounds, well, abound in Hozier's new video for "Someone New," a song off of his debut self-titled LP.

The video features a woman flitting around a city, hooking up with -- or imagining that she hooks up with -- a plethora of men. She seems distressed, however -- almost manic -- as she makes out with dudes in clubs and on trains, and we have to wonder if there's something she's trying to escape via lip-lock.

Perhaps memories of an ex named Andrew Hozier-Byrne, who strums onstage at a dark, moody venue throughout the video? It's all up for interpretation as the upbeat -- yet tongue-in-cheek -- chorus goes, "I fall in love just a little ol' little bit every day with someone new/ Love with every stranger the stranger the better." Kind of a bummer, no?
