Bobbi Kristina Brown, Daughter Of Bobby Brown And Whitney Houston, Found Unresponsive In Bathtub

She is reportedly breathing while in ICU.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, was found unconscious in a bathtub inside of her home Saturday (January 31), according to TMZ.

Bobbi was reportedly found by her husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend. The two performed CPR on Brown until paramedics and law enforcement officials arrived.

Following first-aid efforts, Brown was transferred to North Fulton Hospital, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. At the hospital, doctors stabilized Bobbi’s breathing, but she remains in ICU, as per TMZ. It's unclear why Bobbi was unresponsive.

This news is particularly shocking because Bobbi’s mother Whitney Houston was found dead in a Beverly Hills hotel room bathtub in February 2012. The iconic singer's autopsy later revealed that she had accidentally drowned. Traces of cocaine, Benadryl, Flexeril, marijuana and Xanax were found in her toxicology screening.

In 2012, Bobbi Kristina said that she wanted to continue singing despite briefly quitting following her mother's passing. At the time, she said she understood that she would always be linked to her mom.

“Of course I’m going to be compared to my mother,” Bobbi said. “Being her daughter is a huge blessing, but also a curse at times.”

MTV News reached out to Roswell, Georgia’s police department and North Fulton Hospital for comment. Representatives did not respond at press time. We’ll update this story as it develops.
