He's got the height (6'3") and weight (200+ lbs.), but judging from his long-range jumper, Will Ferrell probably won't be trading acting for a spot as a forward on the Lakers anytime soon.

Because he's awesome, though, Ferrell bum-rushed the court during Wednesday night's Lakers-Pelicans game at the Smoothie Center in New Orleans and fired one up from half-court just to see if he could.

Things did not go great. In fact, Ferrell pretty much just nailed a cheerleader in the face with his way-off shot and was then dragged out of the arena by venue security. According to Sports Illustrated, the bit was for a scene from Will's upcoming movie, "Daddy's Home," which also stars Mark Wahlberg, Linda Cardellini and Hannibal Buress.
