Convicted Burglar Pleads ‘Not Guilty’ To Breaking Into Miley Cyrus' Home

The 'Bangerz'star's home was robbed twice last year.

Previously convicted burglar Rusty Edward Sellner, 22, plead not guilty today (January 8) to charges that he robbed Miley Cyrus' Toluca Lake home in Los Angeles.

The LA County District Attorney alleges that on December 16, 2014, Sellner broke into the pop star's residency and stole "a large amount of her and her brother's property," resulting in a charges of first-degree residential burglary, receiving stolen property and grand theft.

The Newbury Park man is scheduled to return to the Los Angeles County Superior Court later this month (January 20) for a preliminary hearing. If convicted, Sellner faces a maximum sentence of 7 years in state prison.

This was the second burglary that Cyrus faced in 2014—and the incidents were only six months apart. In June of 2014 a couple from Arizona were arrested and convicted for breaking in Miley's North Hollywood home and stealing her 2014 Maserati Quattroporte.
