50 Cent's Latest Beef Is With A New Fox TV Show

That marketing plan was him, he says.

If 50 Cent feels like you're getting in his way, better believe he's gonna let you know about it. And he doesn't just name rappers' names; it's TV shows, too. Fif's latest target? FOX's upcoming "Empire."

"Empire VS. Power LADIES what's up you be the judge. LMAO #SMSAUDIO #FRIGO #POWERTV," the rapper captioned an image on Instagram this weekend, which showed a split-screen of Omari Hardwick, the star of "Power," a 2014 Starz series produced by 50, and Terrence Howard, the lead in "Empire."

The Queens native then posted again, this time clarifying that he's not coming at Howard, or the show's other star, Taraji P. Henson, but the network's marketing plan.

"POWER Season 2 is unbelievably good trust me," he wrote, along with a quick preview video for his series' upcoming second season. "I have the best writers and show runner. I like Terrence howard and Taraji Henson. I don't like that They would copy the Marketing.#SMSAUDIO #FRIGO #POWERTVFollow."

"Empire" is set to premiere January 7 on Fox, while "Power" will return to Starz for its new season, likely also in 2015.
