You may want to unhand that snack before reading on, because Miley Cyrus' Instagram feed currently looks like something out of a medical textbook (if said textbook had been sprinkled with the whimsical dust of an emoticon fairy, that is).

Cyrus posted a decidedly stoic pre-surgery photo of herself on Friday, with the caption, "The gown is sooooo hipster."

Turns out, Cyrus was in the OR to have a cyst surgically removed from the inside of her wrist, reports E! News. But being oh-so-Miley, the singer didn't stop at a frown in a gown – she posted multiple versions of a graphic mid-surgery shot.

We've never seen a cyst smile before, so...bravo? Other versions include censorship by way of pizza ("I have pizza in my veins," Cyrus captioned), Justin Bieber, her Billy Bob teeth, her late dog Floyd ("OMG Floyd veinz"), Elvis and The Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne.

The same source told E! that Miley is "doing fine," and her Instagram seems to indicate as much. Here she is bandaged up reading a book...

...and eating a cookie.

We're glad to see she's resting comfortably, but – if you'll excuse us – we need to go clear all those old episodes of "ER" off our DVR.
