It was a Young Money family affair at the 2014 American Music Awards on Sunday, Nov. 23, with Lil Wayne, Christina Milian and Nicki Minaj all holding it down for the team.

As promised, Lil Wayne debuted a new song called "Start A Fire," featuring Christina Milian, which will appear on his upcoming album Tha Carter V.

Weezy hit the stage first, looking pretty casual in a hoodie and shorts, but things got intense as he rapped against a backdrop of flames.

Christina Milian joined him shortly afterwards, wearing a lacy cropped top and high slit red skirt, dancing and slowly grinding on Wayne, as he referred to them as a modern day Thelma and Weezy, rapping, "Mama I'm in love with a hot girl and they just don't get it."

Over the past few months, Milian has denied rumors that they're dating, so we were waiting to see if she and Wayne would make any extreme show of PDA, but the closest they came was holding hands as they walked off the stage.

Then, it was Nicki's turn, and she was on the same wavelength as Wayne.

Skylar Grey opened Nicki's performance, dressed in all white and sitting on the piano as she began to sing the chorus to "Bed of Lies." When Nicki Minaj joined her, she as a vision to behold, dressed in a flowing white gown and showing almost no skin.

Her pink rhinestone mic was the loudest part of her otherwise emotional performance, where she rapped about heartbreak and a failed relationship.

Although Nicki and Wayne weren't on the stage together at any point, it still felt very much like a family collaboration. Watch their performance in the video above.

Both Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj are releasing albums in December. Tha Carter V is scheduled to arrive on December, with The Pinkprint following on December 15.
