Jennifer Aniston Reveals What She Really Thought About 'The Rachel'—Her Infamous 'Friends' Haircut

Also that 'Friends' reunion will probably be a series of funerals.

There is a special place in hell for hair, apparently. And that fresh hell is known as The Rachel — at least if you're Jennifer Aniston.

You know The Rachel, don't you? It was the haircut that launched 10,000 styling appointments in the mid-nineties thanks to its commanding presence on the actress' hit, now-iconic comedy series, NBC's "Friends". Apparently The Rachel was not all that great for the Rachel herself.

While hanging out on "The Graham Norton Show" this week, the actress confessed a big secret: "Well, Chris McMillan [noted celebrity hairstylist] ... he was loaded when he gave me the haircut," Aniston joked. "Just stoned out of his mind."

The notoriously no-muss-no-fuss actress was ill-equipped to handle the pressures of the legendary hairdo. "He didn't think 'oh, she's going to have to do this herself.'"

"I don't know how to make it look like that!" the actress quipped.

As for that seemingly perma-discussed "Friends" reunion that nostalgia obsessives crave with every fiery ounce of their being? "At this point I think, honestly, we should just wait," Aniston said.

"I say we wait until we're really much older and be just 'Golden Friends,' then you won't have the comparisons."

To this, Graham Norton, replied they should just "make it really grim and depressing so no one will want to see it again."

"Oh no! 'Dead Friends'," Aniston joked. "Just kill them off! Then we'll know there's no reunion to be had!"

A series of funerals? Can't get much darker than that. At least it'd give new life to Joey's catchphrase. "How you doin'?" would be met with a bevy of responses about hips and COPD. To which Chandler would certainly reply? "Could I BE anymore arthritic?" Okay, okay we'll stop now.
