The New 'Jurassic World' Teaser Trailer Reveals An Even Bigger Announcement

The film itself is due out next June.

It's a day we've waited seemingly a millenia for, but is finally upon us: the teaser trailer for "Jurassic World" has arrived.

It's been over 21 years since "Jurassic Park" first ushered us into the prehistoric island that changed everyone's '90s childhood forever — with two sequels in between then and now in 1997 and 2001 — but this go-around looks to be our most dino-filled excursion in terms of exploring the beasts themselves. It's like a Mesozoic safari!

Prior to this all we've had to go off on was a very minimalist poster, a photo of star Chris Pratt, and a faux-website made for viral marketing purposes.

But now, there's plenty of dinosaurs to be seen—oh, and quick glimpse at star Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard's boss lady bob, too.

Check out those crazy dinos! Look at that bizarre traveling bubble thing! And hey, where's Dr. Henry Wu when you need him?

The teaser isn't much but its existence is mostly to alert us of the very, very exciting thing happening on November 27th: the actual, bona fide, totally legitimate, hopefully-has-some-Jake-Johnson-from-"New-Girl"-in-it, full length trailer will make its way into the world. Just like a tiny dino hatchling, this things going to grow up to be H-U-G-E. Also there's a dynamite/dino-mite joke in here somewhere, too.

"Jurassic World" hits theaters on June 12, 2015.
