Korn drummer David Silveria and his wife Shannon welcomed an addition to their family recently with the arrival of a baby daughter.

The couple's newest arrival, Sophia Aurora, was born Tuesday in Huntingdon Beach, California. The baby weighed in at 7 lbs., 9 oz., and the both mother and daughter are said to be happy and healthy.

This is the couple's second child and joins a 2-year-old son named David.

The good news comes as the band begins work on its next album, the follow-up to last year's "Follow The Leader." As we reported earlier this month, the band is working with producer Brendan O'Brien on the effort (see [article id="1430977"]Korn Records With Brendan O'Brien For New LP"[/article]).
