Hear Kendrick Lamar's Unreleased Verse On Flying Lotus 'Eyes Above'

More K.Dot for the people.

A few months back, we got a new Kendrick Lamar verse on Flying Lotus' single "Never Catch Me," but apparently that was only a fraction of what they recorded together. K. Dot also spit a verse on "Eyes Above," but it was removed for "political reasons."

No reason to waste a good verse though -- Flying Lotus has been playing that version during his live shows. In Washington D.C., on Thursday night, for example he played the track with Kendrick's addition. Listen to it below.

"There's actually another track that he did on this album that I had to take off for political reasons, but it was a really cool thing," Flying Lotus told Pitchfork, regarding "Eyes Above." "He came to the house and laid it down and killed it. He didn't come with no entourage or nothing. It was real special to me."

"I appreciate that space when I can sit with the artist and really see how their genius works, and Kendrick is that guy. He's a visionary thinker. Every time he raps on a song, he raps like I wish I could."
