Ariana Grande Had No 'Problem' Defying Gravity During Her 2014 MTV EMA Performance

The singer performed 'Problem' and 'Break Free' live from Glasgow.

No offense to Galileo, father of heliocentrism and stuff, but on Sunday (November 9) at the 2014 MTV EMA we learned the sun actually revolves around Miss Ariana Grande.

The 21-year-old American pop star, who took home the EMAs for Best Pop and Best Female, emerged from a spiraling black and white vortex onto the SSE Hydro stage, opening with her lead My Everything single, "Problem."

Then, as the opening bars of "Break Free" broke through, she popped herself into a glass sphere to float on over to a larger stage. For a good half-minute, Ariana looked like Glinda the good fierce witch floating up high in that bubble -- and you were slain! And you! And you!

After touching down on the second stage, she closed the performance in front of a screen that displayed a giant, burning sun. Is Ariana Grande, in fact, the center of the universe? The evidence keeps piling up...

In any case, she's clearly the center of boyfriend Big Sean's universe. After her set, the "I Don't F--k With You" rapper tweeted: "shine bright my baby!!! U look amazing!"

Oh yeah, and do you know what the fourth- or fifth-best part of Ariana's entire performance might have been? HER HAIR WAS DOWN.
