Even The Stars Of 'Interstellar' Really Don't Get The Ending Of The Movie

'No, I didn't fully get it,' Matthew McConaughey told MTV.

Consider yourself warned: You're probably going to walk away from "Interstellar," director Christopher Nolan's epic saga through space and time, scratching your head. Lord knows the movie's stars did, and they were in the thing.

MTV UK caught up with leads Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Matthew McConaughey, all three of whom confirmed that they didn't totally get the movie at first, mostly due to the density of scientific information. Are you an expert on wormholes? Didn't think so.

"I'm not gonna lie, the second time I saw the film I understood it," Hathaway said. "And that was after reading it upwards of 70 times."

McConaughey agreed, and suggested that viewers, "don't get hung up on the science."

"No, I didn't fully get it," he said. "I was amazed with it, enjoyed the ride, but I didn't completely understand every bit of the science."

"Interstellar" is in theaters November 7.
