Joss Whedon Has A Perfect Method For Identifying Feminist Men
For all of the talk that goes on about feminism and what it means to be a feminist, there are plenty of men who don't have any idea.
So let Joss Whedon explain.
The "Avengers: Age of Ultron" director spoke with New York Magazine at an Equality Now event and eloquently framed the conversation for young men who are feminists and don't know it.
"A guy who goes around saying 'I'm a feminist' usually has an agenda that is not feminist," Whedon said. "A guy who behaves like one, who actually becomes involved in the movement, generally speaking, you can trust that. And it doesn't just apply to the action that is activist. It applies to the way they treat the women they work with and they live with and they see on the street."
Yeah, that about sums it up.
