Surprise -- Childish Gambino's New Mixtape 'STN MNT' Is Here

And the EP 'KAUAI' is on the way.

"I had a dream I ran Atlanta, and I was on every radio station," Childish Gambino says on the intro to his new mixtape, STN MTN, which he released on Thursday (October 2), and is named after his native Stone Mountain, Georgia. And in that vein, on the 11-track project, he rhymes over some ATL-bred hits, including "Southern Hospitality," "Move That Dope" and "Money Baby" -- as well as Lil Wayne's "Go DJ" and Timbaland & Magoo's "All Y'all."

That theme fits with what he said when asked about the DJ Drama-hosted tape earlier this week. “It’s a Gangsta Grillz mixtape that goes into an EP,” he explained in an interview with Complex. “The Gangsta Grillz mixtape is sort of like — it’s a dream. And the dream ends when I wake up in Kauai. And they go into each other — it’s one complete project. You can download the mixtape, and you can go buy the EP. The money from the EP goes to help with keeping Kauai clean, and also helps with getting audio and visual device for cops policy.”

Though the mixtape is out now, the EP, KAUAI, isn't available yet -- but is "coming soon" on iTunes according to Gambino's site. You can head there to download STN MTN, or stream it below.
