Watch The Original Jasmine Belt 'A Whole New World' 21 Years Later

Flying carpet not included.

It's been 21 years since the 1993 release of "Aladdin," and certain things never change. For example, we're still waiting on that magic carpet ride, and we still think a monkey would make a great pet. One more thing that's remained awesome: Princess Jasmine's voice.

Lea Salonga, who sang the part of our favorite crop top-wearing Disney princess (she also voiced Mulan, who did not wear a crop top), got on stage and performed "A Whole New World" with opera group Il Divo.

You'll notice that it took four men to sing Aladdin's part of the classic song, while Solanga can handle the Jasmine part just fine on her own, thankyouverymuch. Girl power much?

Gf has been rocking the throwback tune for years, including last year, when she duetted with "Glee" star Darren Criss and a crowd of enthusiasts at a piano bar.

Check out the video above, and enjoy spending the rest of your day revisiting the rest of the amazing "Aladdin" soundtrack. (No, we ain't never had a friend like you.)
