Just months after Sara Gilbert and Linda Perry tied the knot, the couple announced on Tuesday (September 9) that they're expecting their first child together. Gilbert revealed her pregnancy on today's episode of her CBS show "The Talk," according to US Weekly.

The "Roseanne" alumna, who has two children from a previous relationship, married the 49-year-old hitmaker in late March in Malibu, California. A few weeks later, the talk show host shared with her television audience how life left post-nuptials.

"It definitely feels different," she admitted, according to People. "It feels more different than you expect. You feel like you're part of this institution and it's official, and, oh, I better not mess this up. You feel safer in a way and you feel like you've really committed and it's not about, can I deal with this ... or not deal with it. It becomes, how will we deal with our relationship together?"

Perry, the chart-topping songwriter/producer behind pop stars like Pink and Christina Aguilera, should have her hands free for pre-natal planning. VH1 recently aired the season one finale of her series "Make or Break: The Linda Perry Project."
