The 'Journey' Continues: 'Finding Carter' Is Coming Back For Season 2

MTV's newest drama has more thrills -- and a few chills -- coming your way.

After being abducted as a young child and reunited with her biological family as a teenager, the rebellious Carter Stevens has finally carved out a space among her new parents and siblings. But make no mistake -- her case is far from closed.

"Finding Carter," the top new cable series with 12- to 34-year-olds, is officially coming back for a second season, MTV announced today. And the network's execs are ready to bring you 12 more episodes of drama, drama, drama.

"The creative minds behind 'Finding Carter' did an exceptional job bringing this story to life and drawing our audience in," President of MTV Programming Susanne Daniels said in a press release. "I'm looking forward to another season following Carter on her journey."

"Carter" has had some pretty tremendous success online, too -- it's the top streamed new series on MTV.com and the MTV app with more than five million views in 2014.

On tonight's episode, which airs at 10/9c, Carter and Taylor will learn of Elizabeth's affair and push her to spill the beans, but will it cause more damage than the family can handle?
