As The Dude says, never say never.

Or at least, we think that's what Jeff Bridges was trying to say when asked by MTV News about the possibility of a sequel or television adaptation of the Coen brothers' cult classic "The Big Lebowski."

Noting that it was "a rare day when there's not a 'The Dude abides!'" from a fan spotting him, Bridges didn't necessarily say that he'd return to the fan-favorite role... But he didn't say no either.

"Whatever [the Coen brothers] are interested in, I'm interested in," Bridges said in an interview promoting the upcoming "The Giver," which he starred in and produced.

Let's just hope that the TV adaptation of "Fargo" keeps doing really, really well, right?

Oh, and, duh: The Dude abides!
