We have a feeling that 5SOS will remember July 30 for a very long time.

Not only did their debut album go #1 in the U.S., but they announced the dates for their Rock Out With Your Socks Out U.S. tour and got to hang out with their "favourite person on the face of the earth."

Yes, that is a pure rock picture in the making as Calum, Luke and Ashton pose alongside Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.

5SOS have publicly acknowledged their love for the Foo Fighters, tweeting back in 2013 they were listening to their music to get pumped for a recording session.

But the pic wasn't the only thing they shared on their Instagram, Ashton posted two video messages thanking fans for making their album not only #1, but giving them the third biggest debut of the year so far.

"Today is probably one of the most incredible days of our lives," Ashton said. "You guys made the album go #1 in the U.S. and we can't even explain how happy we are and we love you guys so much and its just the beginning."

He followed that up with another brief video saying how excited they are to hit the road in the U.S. beginning July 17, 2015 in Las Vegas.

"We've been waiting to announce it for ages, and if you got a ticket for our tour anywhere else in the world we thank you so much and we can't wait to see you," he said. "It's going to be an epic show and hopefully there will be lots of flames and stuff."
