Lea Michele Remembers Cory Monteith On The Anniversary Of His Death
'Every day we remember your smile.'
On the one year anniversary of his tragic death, Lea Michele has tweeted her remembrance of Cory Monteith. The couple met while working together on "Glee" and dated for about a year and a half, until Monteith's untimely death last year.
"We hold you in our hearts today, and every day we remember your smile," Michele wrote. "We will love you and miss you always." She also attached a photo of Cory.
The photo is clearly a personal one—a close up of Cory taken at sunset—and Lea finished off her tweet with a heart emoji.
At just 31 years old, Cory was found dead from a toxic alcohol and heroin mix in a Vancouver, Canada hotel room last year. His loss is still deeply felt by fans and peers alike.
