Diplo, Disclosure And A Few More 'Superstar DJs' Are Getting Their Own TV Show

Seth Troxler, Tiësto and Fatboy Slim will also star in the British show.

EDM is taking over the world, so of course, there's a new TV show zooming in on the lives of DJs.

DJing began as underground community for obsessive collectors, but the once reclusive role of the DJ has morphed into one of international celebrities.

Enter "Superstar DJs," a six-part series that will feature five of the scene's hottest DJs: Disclosure, Diplo, Seth Troxler, Tiësto and Fatboy Slim. Radio 1 presenter—and DJ in her own right—Annie Mac will host the series as it whisks through the private lives and public performances of these massive stars.

"In 2014, dance music has never been so omnipresent in popular culture, and the DJs at the epicenter of it have never been more revered," Mac said of the show. "I think it's very important that we represented the full spectrum of dance music today, thus we have the godfather of EDM Tiesto, the American music entrepreneur Diplo, the underground warrior Seth Troxler, the National treasure Fatboy Slim and the absolute men of the moment Disclosure."

The show begins this Wednesday, June 25 on Channel 4. Watch the trailer above to get the scoop on the show.
