Demi Lovato is taking on the world.

The singer announced on Thursday (May 29) that she's embarking on her very first world tour, appropriately titled Demi: The World Tour.

Demi surprised her Lovatics with the news with a 0:15 video showing the singer in action in concert, ending with the North American cities she'll be visiting flashing across the screen.

The tour kicks off September 6 in Baltimore and has her visiting Chicago, Miami, New Orleans and Montreal before wrapping up the North American leg of her tour in Newark, New Jersey, on October 25. Additional cities will be announced soon and tickets go on sale June 6, the same day Demi will perform her new single "Really Don't Care" on "Good Morning America."

Joining her on the road are Christina Perri and MKTO, whose hit single "Classic" has just been certified platinum.

Demi recently wrapped up her three-month Neon Lights Tour, which had her stopping all through North and South America.
