New 'Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes' Trailers Prepare Us For War

Is it weird that I'm Team Apes?

Two new full-length trailers for "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" -- one domestic and one international -- have debuted, giving us great looks at one of the most anticipated movies of the summer.

The main thing that stands out in both of these previews is that it seems like the apes have taken even more of the focus from the human characters, versus the more even focus in "Rise of the Planet of the Apes."

Both trailers open with glimpses of simian society in the forests of northern California. The ultra-intelligent apes have built a peaceful life for themselves complete with families and schools for the cute little baby chimps.

That all goes to hell (of course) once the humans get involved. Jason Clarke leads the cast of Homo sapiens this time around, but he's pretty clearly playing second fiddle to Andy Serkis' Caesar.

Each preview hints at the enormous clash set for the movie's end, bringing the series ever closer to the world we saw in the original "Planet of the Apes."

"Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" opens in theaters on July 18.
