Hear A Preview Of Miley Cyrus And Flaming Lips' Beatles Cover

Wayne Coyne shared a sneak peek of 'A Day In The Life' on Thursday.

What happens when Miley Cyrus and Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne hit the studio together? Well, apart from rolling enormous joints, getting "high as f--k" and vomiting diamonds, they also cook up some pretty rad tunes together.

On Thursday (April 10), Coyne shared a preview of their cover of the Beatles classic "A Day in the Life." Miley takes the place of Paul McCartney over a more electronic beat courtesy of New Fumes.

" Woke up ..fell out of bed.. dragged a comb across my head.. Yep!!!! @mileycyrus singing the Paul McCartney bit on A Day In The Life!!!!! Yesss!! Thanks @NewFumes Almost done mixin !! Gon beeee rad!!!!! If ya love The Beatles and John Lennon you gonna love this!!! #freaks#floyd #beatles #srgtpeppers #theflaminglips#lovemoneyparty #dogsmusicfriends," he wrote.

The two also recorded a cover of "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" in the studio session last month. Back in February, the unlikely duo -- who have been rather fond of each other on Twitter -- joined forces onstage in L.A. on Miley's Bangerz tour for to perform the Lips classic "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots."
