2 Chainz And French Montana Debut New Song 'A-Rod': Listen

Deuce brought nonstop hits, guest MCs and a cape-wearing Cam'ron to his Roseland Ballroom show in NYC.

NEW YORK -- 2 Chainz has a lot of hits and a lot of friends and he used some of them on Wednesday night when his 2 Good 2 Be Tru Tour rolled into New York City's Roseland Ballroom.

The night began with sets from Chicago's Cap 1 and then New Orleans singer August Alsina. Pusha T took the stage and performed several cuts from his proper solo debut, My Name Is My Name, as well as tracks from G.O.O.D Music's Cruel Summer compilation, before ending things with his breakout Clipse hit "Grindin."

Chainz, who was the guest on [article id="1721843"]"RapFix Live"[/article] just a few hours before show time jumped out to "Fork," the opening track from his latest album, B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time.

Then for just about two hours, the tall and lanky Atlanta rap star bopped across the stage, rolling out hit after hit. Deuce pulled from his own catalog for high-powered tunes like "Feds Watching," "I'm Different," "Spend It" and "Birthday Song," but also he performed a few of his fan-favorites guest verses from songs like Juicy J's "Bandz a Make Her Dance" and G.O.O.D Music's "Mercy."

The amount of features Chainz has done have made him wildly popular and helped strengthen a few rap friendships. He invited some of those friends out onstage last night in NYC. Trey Songz, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, French Montana, Chinx and Cam'ron all showed up. After French performed his own single "Ain't Worried About Nothin'," the Bad Boy rapper and Tity Boi gave fans a taste of an upcoming track they have called "A-Rod."

"Walking through the park like I'm A-Rod/ Smoking on that strong, on that steroid/ They tryna kick me out like A-Rod/ I used to run the base like A-Rod," the pair rapped in homage to the embattled baseball star.

Cam came out like a rap superhero in a black-and-white cape, rapping along to his Diplomats classic "I Really Mean It."

After the parade of guests, 2 Chainz once again owned the stage, closing out with "No Lie," before sending the New York crowd home with enough highlights to tweet and tell their friends about.
