Pusha T Didn't Mean To Mislead You With That Clipse Reunion Post

'I'm on my Pusha T right now,' Push backtracks.

Fans waiting for a Clipse [article id="1720031"]reunion album[/article], may have to wait a little while longer.

Last week, news spread fast that Pusha T was back in the studio with his brother No Malice. And together with their old producers the Neptunes, they were believed to be working on an independent album, their first joint project since 2009. Well, now Push is saying that isn't the case.

"I never leaked anything about the Clipse; I didn't do that," he clarified to Washington D.C.'s DJ Heat in a video interview. "All I did was tell everybody [via Instagram] I was in the studio 20 days with Pharrell and Chad, and then there was a leak that happened and other people just found out that other people were down in Miami, but I wouldn't do that."

The news broke on KarenCivil.com on January 6 and a few days later the G.O.O.D. Music MC posted a picture that showed him posing with his brother to his Facebook with a caption that read "It's coming." The post included a link to Karen Civil's article.

"Right now, I'm on my Pusha T right now. I don't want to mislead nobody," he said, assuring fans that his priorities are focused on his upcoming solo sophomore LP, King Push.

He did, however, leave room for a collaboration between him and Malice on his solo album. "I would love for that, I love my brother," he said.

Pusha doesn't have a release date for his new album but he's currently in the middle of a 20-day recording outing in Miami with Pharrell and Chad. After that, he'll head out on tour with 2 Chainz for several months. "Since I've been back in there with them, it's been incredible," he gushed. "You know, Pharrell right now he's on another level. Chad, he's coming through with the old 'Chad-sonics' and just the technical aspects of it and he's just teaching us stuff left and right. It's been good."
