Kanye West Vs. Jimmy Kimmel: It's On!

'Finally, I'm in a rap feud,' Kimmel boasted on Thursday night after Yeezy tore him a new one on Twitter.

Jimmy Kimmel is a funny guy. If you caught his show on Wednesday night, he ran a pretty funny skit spoofing Kanye West's epic one-hour [article id="1714558"]BBC Radio 1 interview[/article]
.

He ribbed 'Ye for being his "own hype man" and questioned whether the "leather jogging pant" is really a thing. Because he couldn't understand much of what West was saying in the [article id="1714558"]interview[/article]
, Kimmel hired a couple of kids to read the transcript (while sipping on milk shakes, of course), including a bit with 'Ye's most recent reference to his favorite movie, [article id="1714667"]"The Truman Show."[/article]

Well, you can guess how that went over. And you can probably guess ALL CAPS were involved. Like, many, many ALL CAPS.

"JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS," West tweeted Thursday night.

Oh, and he was just getting started. "JIMMY KIMMEL, I DON'T TAKE IT AS A JOKE ... YOU DON'T HAVE SCUM BAGS HOPPING OVER FENCES TRYING TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR DAUGHTER," he continued. "JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES ... OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD P---Y IN YOUR LIFE ... YOU CAN'T PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES. YOUR FACE LOOKS CRAZY ... IS THAT FUNNY? ... OR IF I HAD A KID SAY IT WOULD IT BE FUNNY???"

Things then got really real, when 'Ye asked if he should make a spoof about Kimmel's face, or about him "f---ing Ben Affleck," in reference to one of Kimmel's most beloved on-air bits. (Adding, hilariously, #NODISRESPECTTOBENAFFLECK #ALLDISRESPECTTOJIMMYKIMMEL!!!!)

And, well, then it got even weirder, when West tweeted, "I LIKE YOU, YOU KNOW ME, I WENT TO YOUR FAMILY'S WEDDING." [Ed. Note, wait, what? Kanye went to Kimmel's wedding?]

"YOU MADE IT CLEAR TO ME WASN'T YOUR FAMILY WHEN I WAS ON THEN PHONE WITH YOU 5 MINUTES AGO," he continued. "YOU MANIPULATIVE MEDIA MUTHERF---ER."

Whoa, that last bit bears explaining. Kimmel revealed on Thursday night's show that before taking the stage he had a heated phone convo with West about the skit.

"We just had the kids say the stuff Kanye said," Kimmel said. "Apparently this upset him. He called me. He said a lot of things. He told me I had two choices: Number one, apologize publicly ... and that was really the only choice. The other choice he gave was, 'Your life is going to be much better if you apologize.' "

Kimmel then scrolled the tweets live on TV, noting that he hadn't even seen some of them yet because they were still being fired out as he took the stage. "He did come to my friend's wedding, and he was very nice at the wedding," Kimmel said. [Ed. note, Oh, okay, that explains things.] "By the way, he told me this on the phone. 'I am the most powerful voice in media.' He said 'I am 'Pac' a few times to me. He said, 'You'll never be able to show your face at a 14-year-old's football game and be cool again.' "

Finally, Kimmel said, "I'm in a rap feud."

Now, keep in mind, that Kimmel is the same guy who 100 percent punk'd the planet with the "Worst Twerk Fail EVER" video recently, so you have to really wonder when he's being honest and when he's setting us up for the long con.

West ended the spree with a cutting dis. "SARAH SILVERMAN IS A THOUSAND TIMES FUNNIER THAN YOU AND THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT!!!," he wrote of Kimmel's ex. 'Ye ended with a pair of NSFW pics that, well, check them out yourself, because they're awesome.
