Ariana Grande Invites You Back To The '90s In 'Baby I' Video

Singer throws a good old-fashioned block party in her latest 'Yours Truly' clip.

Ariana Grande is throwing a '90s block party, and you're invited!

On Friday (September 6), the former Nickelodeon star released the fun and flirty video for "Baby I" that takes a page straight out of the '90s, from the overalls to the graphic T's and mismatched prints. All they missed were the snap bracelets!

The video follows Grande and her crew shutting down the block as she rocks a pair of short shorts and a midriff-baring top, reminiscent of Mariah Carey's ensemble in the 1995 "Fantasy" video.

Grande, who promised the clip would make her fans smile, tosses her signature locks and sings sweetly to the camera as she takes her party from the streets to the rooftop to the bus. Eventually, Grande trades in the short shorts for overalls and the sky-high heels for sneakers, as she shows off her adorable running man moves flanked by her back-up dancers. Eventually Grande makes her way back to the house party, which is complete with inflatable microphones and boom boxes.

"Baby I" is the latest single off Yours Truly, which was released this week, and follows her massive hit "The Way" and "Almost is Never Enough," featuring The Wanted's Nathan Sykes.

Even though she was only born in 1993, Grande has made it no secret that she's been channeling '90s R&B on her album, and on "Baby I" in particular.

"I love that. It felt like '90s, Aaliyah, Destiny's Child. I like that it has that throwback feeling to it," she told MTV News in July about the track. "And that's when I grew up and it was such a feel-good song to me. And I love what it says. I love it's about loving somebody so much that you just don't know what to say. I think that's really cute. I laughed the first time I heard the lyrics. I like that I get to sing a little more on it... It's quirky."
