'Man Of Steel' Exclusive Clip Coming To MTV!

'MTV First: Man Of Steel' brings the stars and director of the highly anticipated Superman film together for an exclusive half-hour interview.

Just before "Man of Steel" lands in theaters this Friday, MTV is giving fans an early look with an exclusive clip this Thursday.

It all starts at 7:56 p.m. ET, when the clip premieres on air and online. Directly afterward, MTV News' Josh Horowitz will sit down with actors Henry Cavill, Amy Adams and Michael Shannon, as well as director Zack Snyder for an in-depth, extended interview available exclusively at MTV.com.

The cast and director will then reveal behind-the-scenes information about the iconic hero's latest film adventure and answer fans' questions. You can get in on the action by submitting your own questions on Twitter to @MTVNews, using the hashtag #MTVFirst and #AskSuperman.

"Man of Steel" is on track to see its box-office totals soar, as the film's trailers hint that this could be the Superman film his loyal fans have waited decades to see. 2006's Bryan Singer-helmed "Superman Returns" failed to meet expectations, and the Kryptonian's previous two films, "Superman III" and "Superman IV: The Quest for Peace," have not aged well since their late '80s releases.

The new film reboots Superman back to his roots, last explored onscreen in 1978's "Superman." [article id="1708682"]MTV News spoke to Dylan Sprayberry[/article], the actor who brought teenage Clark Kent to life in the new film, and found out what it was like to portray an icon.

"I think a lot of the percentage of young boys when they are growing up want to be a superhero. I know I did. I would put a towel on my back, run around, and across my couch and try to practice flying and things like that," Sprayberry told MTV News. "So I was definitely a fan just of superheroes in general and then you have Superman the ultimate superhero -- it was like a dream come true."

So tune in to MTV on Thursday at 7:56 p.m. ET for an exclusive first look at "Man of Steel," followed by "MTV First: Man of Steel" online at MTV.com. "Man of Steel" opens in theaters nationwide on Friday.
