Wiz Khalifa Blesses Juelz Santana With 'God Willin'' Feature

Juelz may have flaked out on previous collabos, but this didn't tarnish his relationship with the Taylor Gang leader, he told RapFix Live.'

If Wiz Khalifa had his way, he and Juelz Santana would've collaborated on his critically acclaimed Taylor Allderdice mixtape on "Never Been Part II" with Rick Ross and Amber Rose. Unfortunately for the Taylor Gang captain, Elz chose the club over the studio on their scheduled night of recording, but no worries -- the two rappers have something else in the works.

"Juelz was definitely supposed to be on Taylor Allderdrice," Wiz revealed in a pre-taped video that we surprised Juelz with on Wednesday's episode of "RapFix Live."

"I can never get mad at Juelz because he's Dipset, he gets a pass," Khalifa added with a laugh.

Santana admitted to flaking out on the session but explained that he wasn't in a creative space then and he just wasn't feeling it. But now, the "Mic Check" MC is back to work and plans to release his God Willin' mixtape at the very top of 2013. "I got a crazy record with Wiz Khalifa on my mixtape. We just shot the video in Miami," he said. "Ahh man, it's super dope."

Originally the Dipset word wizard had titled his tape The Reagan Era as an ode to the 1980s when he grew up, but he has since changed his mind. "I switched the name too, you know it was called Reagan Era, I feel like the Reagan Era just got outdated," he reasoned before citing that Kendrick Lamar already used the title "Ronald Reagan Era" for a song on his 2010 indie album Section.80. "I just wanted to switch it up. God Willin' just felt good."

Though he has appeared as a guest on records for Lloyd Banks and Kirko Bangz in recent years, it has been seven years since Elz dropped his last official LP What the Game's Been Missing! His next album [article id="1698412"]Born to Lose, Built to Win[/article] will be executive produced by Lil Wayne and is scheduled to come out some time next year, but before that, Santana looks to lay some solid foundation in the mixtape scene.

For God Willin' Juelz has already lined up features with Meek Mill, Fabolous, Rick Ross, Yo Gotti, Jadakiss, Lloyd Banks and of course Wiz. "God Willin' mixtape is ready to go," he promised.
