Eve Gets A Ruff Ryders Surprise From Sheek Louch: Watch It Here!

'They were my big brothers and on top of that they made sure I could spit,' Eve tells 'RapFix Live' of relationship with Double R family.

Eve may have the model-like looks and the undeniable sex appeal, but the self-proclaimed Pitbull in a Skirt also had to make sure that her rap bars were on par with her image. Aside from her natural lyric ability, it was Eve's Ruff Ryder crew that forced her to keep her wordplay sharp, and though they haven't seen each other in quite some time, on Wednesday's (November 28) "RapFix Live" Sheek Louch surprised his old Double R running mate when he walked out on set.

"Noooo way," Eve, who was dressed in a bright red top and black tights, gushed when her longtime friend stormed onto the set. "We haven't seen each other in a minute, in a long time."

Eve emerged in a time when Lil Kim and Foxy Brown dominated rap's female spotlight by packaging sex with hit-filled catalogs. E-V-E on the other hand found a more delicate balance between her sexuality and her musicality releasing unforgettable jams like "What Y'all Want," "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" and "Tambourine."

"I was in a crew of dudes that was like put your clothes on. They never made me feel like it was about my sexuality," she said of the Ruff Ryders crew which at one time boasted a roster consisting of DMX, Swizz Beatz, Jadakiss, Styles P and of course Louch. "They were my big brothers and on top of that they made sure I could spit."

Now Eve has grown in her career, making her mark in Hollywood as well as the fashion world. Next year she plans to officially make her return to music with her upcoming album Lip Lock and Sheek couldn't be happier. "Strong black woman, I'm proud of you," he said.
