We know what the theme of Sunday night's closing ceremonies at the XXX Olympics will be: "A Symphony of British Music." What we don't know yet is exactly what will make up the score of that masterpiece. Will it be One Direction? The Who? Adele? The Spice Girls? All of the above?

Speculation has amped up this week in England about which British superstars will take the stage as part of an 4,100-performer extravaganza that closing ceremony music director David Arnold told England's The Telegraph will be "the greatest after-party in the world."

Though he wouldn't name names, film composer Arnold explained that, "If the Opening Ceremony was the wedding, then we're the wedding reception. We're the one where everyone gets out of their cars at the village hall, goes 'Wasn't that lovely, everyone looked great, let's put on 'Blame It On the Boogie' and have a laugh.'"

After two weeks of going all-out in their various sports, Arnold said the finale is a chance for the athletes and organizers to let off some steam, so he has an event on tap that will match the tenor of the games: slightly anarchic, slightly mischievous, funny, heart-warming, emotional, inspiring, and uniquely British."

The only details he revealed are that there are 20 or more artists involved, all household names and many of them among the greatest British stars ever, performing around 30 pieces of music.

He called a speculative piece in the Telegraph as "scarily accurate," and if it is even close the show should be spectacular. Among the predictions:

» Ed Sheeran performing "Wish You Were Here" with members of Pink Floyd.

» Muse making the live debut of their Olympics theme, "Survival." The band is among a handful of acts that have confirmed they are part of the production. The others who've spilled the beans are George Michael and singer/songwriter Sheeran.

» Paul McCartney performing a Beatles classic.

» The Spice Girls singing "Wannabe."

» Ray Davies taking on the Kinks classic "Waterloo Sunset."

» Adele doing "Someone Like You."

» Former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher's band Beady Eye.

» Additional performances by Take That, The Who, Queen, Paul Weller, One Direction, Madness, the Pet Shop Boys, Elton John, the Rolling Stones and possibly reclusive singer Kate Bush.

If even half of those are correct, the closing ceremony could rival movie director Danny Boyle's [article id="1690725"]delightfully bizarre opening gala.[/article]
 His $42 million blowout was packed with U.K.-centric pop culture references from "Harry Potter" to the music of the Beatles, Stones, Amy Winehouse, Blur, the Arctic Monkeys, Dizzee Rascal, Underworld and Prodigy.

The closing ceremony will start at 9 p.m. (4 p.m. ET) at the Olympic Stadium.
