Memphis Bleek To Reminisce On Roc-A-Fella Days On 'RapFix Live'

'Love & Hip Hop' star Benzino will join the rap veteran Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET on RapFix.MTV.com.

Who could forget the reign of Roc-A-Fella Records? With a roster that once boasted Beanie Sigel, Cam'ron and Kanye West in its heyday, it was Memphis Bleek who first emerged as the company's second star, alongside Jay-Z. Now a 13-year rap veteran, the Coming of Age spitter is set to make his very first appearance on "RapFix Live" Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET on RapFix.MTV.com.

Bleek famously got his start making a key contribution to Jay-Z's 1996 classic debut Reasonable Doubt. On the hustling ode "Coming of Age," a then teenaged Bleek set up a bright feature that has resulted in four solo albums, including his platinum 2001 offering The Understanding. Though most of the Roc's key players have since disbanded, Memph has maintained a close relationship with Hov while independently releasing his mixtapes in conjunction with his own Get Low record company. Bleek dropped his last tape Kush, Vol. 2 in June. Expect the well-traveled MC to hit the "RapFix" couch and talk with host Sway Calloway about his career highlights and what's to come.

Bleek isn't the only guest this week, "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star Benzino will also be stopping through. Benzino, who was once a member of the Boston rap group the Almighty RSO, has continually reinvented himself as a rapper and a publisher, once playing a key role in The Source magazine and now Hip-Hop Weekly. These days Zino is wearing his heart on his sleeve, as his relationship with up-and-coming singer Karlie Redd plays out on the new VH1 television series. You're not going to want to miss it.
