Bruce Willis Talks 'Fantastic Four,' 'Unbreakable 2' Rumors

'I haven't gotten that call yet,' he says of rumor that he'd be the voice of The Thing.

Any time we get to talk to action movie hero [movieperson id="67397"]Bruce Willis[/movieperson], we're almost guaranteed a good time -- like during our livestream show at San Diego Comic-Con, where Willis had some fun with our MTV News crew during a playful chat.

We had the opportunity to catch up with the superstar again while he was doing promotion for his upcoming action/heist flick "Red." So we seized the opportunity and asked Willis his thoughts on

"[It's] a rumor, but I love rumors," Willis said. "I haven't gotten that call yet," he admitted.

"It's a good rumor," his "Red" co-star Karl Urban chimed in.

"It is a good rumor," Willis agreed. "I like that film. Good comic too."

Another rumor that always needs to be addressed is the possible "Unbreakable" sequel, for which Willis said he is "absolutely" game -- if it ever happens.

"You better talk some sense into [M.] Night Shyamalan, see if he can come around," Willis said.

We told Willis that we'd be be

"I don't want to put him on the spot, because I've already had a conversation with him," Willis said. "But I think a lot of people would like to see a sequel to that film."

Until the day that heavily hyped sequel gets a green light, however, we turn to the words of Shyamalan, who told us recently that he's using his original idea for the "Unbreakable" sequel in a different film.

"I cannibalized the idea for the sequel to 'Unbreakable' for one of the 'Night Chronicles,'" revealed Shyamalan.

"It was such a cool idea for a villain, and it was actually originally in the script for 'Unbreakable,' and it was too much," he said of his reasons for excising the element that was supposed to become "Unbreakable 2." "There were too many villains, so I pulled this villain out and was like, 'I'll make this the second flick.'"

"I fleshed it out more and more, and thought, 'This could be a standalone movie,'" he said. "I'll just say it: the third 'Night Chronicles' movie is what would have been the sequel [to 'Unbreakable']. So now I need to come up with a new idea."
