The alt-rock-leaning breakup track premiered on Cleveland's 96.5 Kiss FM.

[artist id="3066140"]Kid Cudi[/artist]'s "Erase Me," from his forthcoming sophomore set, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, had its premiere on Cleveland radio station 96.5 Kiss FM. The song, which debuted on Wednesday (June 30), is the second offering from the Ohio native's next collection, following the online leak last month of "REVOFEV."

"Erase Me" is an alt-rock-leaning number featuring [artist id="1230523"]Kanye West[/artist], who contributes a clever verse to the track.

"It's like I'm her new nightmare/ She ain't escaping," Cudi croons. "It makes me feel a bit complete, yeah/ Knowing someone you love don't feel the same way about you/ Memories, they soon delete."

West seals the breakup vibe at the end of the song with a goodbye rap. "But all good things gotta come to an end/ She let it go to her head, no not my Rhea," West spits. "The height of her shopping was writer's blocking me/ I couldn't get my sh-- out anyway, I hope you die, Rhea."

[article id="1627473"]Cudi is putting the final touches[/article] on Mr. Rager. The follow-up to his debut, Man on the Moon, the second effort was originally slated to be a feature-heavy project titled Cudder. Now, the melodic rapper is pushing forward with Man On The Moon II, tentatively slated for a September 14 release to coincide with a rumored spate of albums by Kanye West's G.O.O.D Music signees, including Big Sean and Consequence; the four artists -- label head Yeezy included -- would all release projects on the same day.

Last month, [article id="1641413"]Cudi was arrested in New York[/article] and charged with felony criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance after authorities were called to respond to a disturbance involving the rapper and an unidentified woman. The rapper, however, was later released and turned up at the [article id="1641480"]Bonnaroo festival hours later[/article], joining Jay-Z and Kings of Leon, among others, on the bill.
