The critical response to [artist id="2552793"]MGMT[/artist]'s sophomore album Congratulations has been mixed so far, but their fans had no qualms downloading the psychedelic warriors' album from iTunes. According to figures provided by iTunes, the trippy disc shot right to #1 on the iTunes albums chart this week, bumping mellow strummer [article id="1636004"]Jack Johnson out of the #1 position[/article]. (In fact, after one week at the top, Johnson was out of the top 10 entirely for the sales week that ended Monday).

MGMT were followed by Ke$ha's Animal, which likely stormed back up thanks to her [article id="1637249"]appearance on "Saturday Night Live,"[/article] and Coheed And Cambria's Year of the Black Rainbow, which we like to think was goosed by their win in the MTV Musical March Madness competition.

Holding steady at #4 were multiple Academy of [article id="1637294"]Country Music Award-winners Lady Antebellum[/article] with Need You Now, followed by Usher's Raymond v. Raymond, Justin Bieber's My World 2.0, the self-titled debut from former "American Idol" finalist Jason Castro, the latest "Glee" cast recording, Glee -- The Music, the Power of Madonna, former 10,000 Maniacs singer Natalie Merchant's Leave Your Sleep and Lady Gaga's The Fame. (Precise sales figures are not available because iTunes does not provide sales data for the iTunes store.) Spiked from the top 10 was former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash's self-titled debut, which was #2 last week, and albums by the John Butler Trio, Sigur Rós singer/guitarist Jónsi and Erykah Badu's New Amerykah Part 2: Return of the Ankh.

There were fewer shake-ups on the iTunes singles chart, where B.o.B's collabo with Bruno Mars, "Nothin' On You," took over the pole position from easy rockers Train, who fell to #2 with their comeback hit "Hey, Soul Sister."

Up-and-comer Taio Cruz was just behind at #3 with "Break Your Heart" featuring Ludacris, right in front of another B.o.B tune, "Airplanes," which has a guest spot from Paramore's Hayley Williams. The top five was rounded out by Rihanna's "Rude Boy."

Usher hung in there at #6 with "OMG," which features Will.I.Am, and Ke$ha hit #7 with "Your Love Is My Drug," one of two songs she performed on "SNL." Jason Derülo was at #8 with "In My Head," just ahead of Adam Lambert's "Whataya Want From Me," which he [article id="1637080"]performed on "American Idol"[/article] last Wednesday, and rounded out by the Justin Bieber/ Ludacris pair-up "Baby."
